CPHS members are invited to a special private tour of the Zoo's historic architecture and landscape design:
Building & Designs for a 163-Acre Oasis in Our Nation’s Capital: An Architectural Tour of the National Zoo
with John Thomann, AIA, Gensler, and Matthew Sellers, Landscape Architect for the the National Zoo
When: Saturday, October 13, 2018. Meet at 9:15 for a tour that will start at 9:30 and last approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
Where: Meet outside the Reptile Discovery Center. See below for a map with suggested parking locations. (Click here for a PDF version of the map.)
Registration: The tour is open to current CPHS members and is free, but spaces are limited to 20 people. If you find the tour is full, please do put your name on the waiting list, since there is likely to be some movement in the list close to tour time.
